These days, anyone who uses the internet regularly will have a growing collection of passwords across a host of sites; including multiple email accounts, twitter, facebook and many more. Keeping track of them is a real pain so people tend to use the same passwords across the web and then when one gets hacked, you are at risk of all your accounts being compromised. Not a good place to be!
If you are running your own business, building your own websites and joining various Internet Marketing programs, both as a customer or as an Affiliate, the amount of passwords you end up with rapidly becomes un-managable.
However, some years back a friend told me about a password manager that intergrated with your browser, which was capable of detecting which page you had visited and checking its own database to see if you had stored a password for that site; and if so, it would allow you to login in with a simple click of the mouse.
They were of course talking about Roboform which I can honestly say is my number one utility I use everyday and I would be totally lost and much more un-preductive without it.
I manage over 30 websites for myself alone, not to mention the additional work I do on client sites, and Roboform successfully manages my accounts for me.
When you register a new site it has the ability to autogenerate an ultra secure password which it then remembers for you, so each password can be totally unique and you don’t need to worry about remembering it.
It gets better though as you can sync all your passwords with your own secure online password store and then re-sync them to any other devices you may use, for example your home or work pc, your notebook and even your iPhone.
Yes, there’s even an app for that, the Roboform iPhone app syncs with your online account and therefore you can log into all you sites on the move without having to remember your passwords.
Trust me, its a real time saver and allows you to concentrate on what you really went online for; be that a quick Facebook post, an entry on your blog or checking your Clickbank account to see how many sales you have made.
You can download the basic version for free which lets you try out the full functionality. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this excellent time saving app.

Yes dude – I love Roboform as well, it totally cuts down my time and effort on the web.
I also use the memory stick version, so when I use a friends computer I can stick my USB stick in and run Roboform from the USB drive, it works really well.
Ah yes, good point Chris! I forgot about that and yes, I do the same with my u3 drive on my Sandisk.
Thanks for your comments.
Good review guys, I’m going to try it.
What is the difference between the trial and pro version?
Hey Sam, they both offer the same features, the trial version just has a limit on the amount of passwords you can save.
It’s great for trying it out and then if you like it, it doesn’t cost much to upgrade to the pro version, which is unlimited.
